Hey guys it's Erika! For this week’s post, I’m going to show 3 different ways to stay active and healthy.
#1 Try a new sport
I’m not telling you to let down your favorite sport and go try something you don’t like. Just check in your local area to see all the sports they have and chose one that looks interesting to you. A few months ago, I started boxing. I thought it would be very different to what I was doing before, gymnastics. The thing is people often see boxing as a very physical and violent sport but they are wrong. You only realize it’s very mental when you tried it. Trying different sports is going to help you figure out what you like and don’t like. Just go out there try something new, be different, maybe you’ll thank yourself later.
#2 Detox water
Detox water is probably the most Tumblr water ever. You only need a cute water bottle, preferably clear, some colorful fruits and the most obvious, water. It’s a good way to stay hydrated without drinking boring flavorless water. It also makes some Instagram-worthy pictures. You can have fun mixing different color and flavor to create your own combinations.
#3 Dance Party
Whether your home alone or with your friends, dancing to your favorite songs is a workout in itself. Just put on some good music and have fun. After a certain time, you’ll probably be out of breath and realize that’s it has been a few hour that you’ve been dancing around the house. Did you know that for an hour of dance you can lose between 266 and 388 calories? Image if you dance a few hour, a few times a week, every week, you’ll definitively feel a difference and maybe even lose a couple pounds.
