6 things to do during the summer

Hey guys it's Erika! For this week’s post, I’m going to show you 6 different activities to do during the summer.

#1 Go on a hike
Going on a hike is a good way to work out and get fresh outdoor air. You just have to choose a place to go in your area. You could also bring friends and family with you to catch up on life. I would consider leaving my phone at home and bringing a camera instead. It’s going to make you focus more on nature than on your game or texts messages, plus the view at the top is definitively worth a quality picture.

#2 Coloring book

A coloring book is a good way to relax and get creative. You can buy one of those special coloring books, print out a drawing, or if you’re even more artistic make your own drawing. I personally think it’s a cool thing to do when you’re bored and it can definitively make a beautiful piece of art to put on your wall later. On the picture, you can see two of my drawings that I colored from a special coloring book.

#3 Movie night

Whether you want to be alone watching Netflix or go to the actual movies with your friends, having a movie night or a movie day is a good thing to do during bad weather. Also, you can find a bunch of old movies on Netflix and have a throwback movie session. Just don’t forget the snacks.

#4 Make DIYs
For this one, I’m going to show you a very simple wall art. For this DIY you’re going to need a white canvas, tape (I used painter’s tape but you can use whatever tape you have), a paintbrush or foam brush, and paint. First, you have to put tape on the canvas then paint the empty areas. When you’re done take off the tape and now you only have to hang it on your wall. There you go, now you have a beautiful DIY wall art.

#5 Do something you’ve wished for a very long time
For a very long time, I’ve wanted to do YouTube videos, but I’m the worst at editing. So, I thought starting a blog could be another option. Doing something you wanted to do for so long is going to make you feel way more accomplished and definitively happier. Plus, you’re really going to have fun and enjoy it whatever you’re doing. You can even try something with your friends and make possible memories to go back on.

Thanks for reading this first post! I really hoped you enjoyed it. If you want, you can leave some suggestions in the comment section for some future post.
