TESTING WEIRD LIFEHACKS

#1 Waterproof phone case
When I first saw this one, I was really curious. A Ziploc bag waterproof phone case is kind of weird. The Ziploc bag can be really cheap and the touch screen might not work, just make sure you don't get Ziplocs from the dollar store or something. I tested it out by putting my phone inside the bag (make sure it's closed correctly), then I put the bag inside a glass of water or you can pour water on it. After I took the phone out of the bag, you could see that it was completely dry and not humid. I think this hack is kind of cool for the shower or the pool if you want to play games and watch videos while your phone is being safe. I probably wouldn't use it to go completely under water though because it could leak at any moment.

#2 Balloon phone case
This hack looked really cool and original when I saw it. It's originally meant for your phone to be slip free. You can take any balloon with the color or design that you want. You have to start by blowing the balloon without tying it. Then, push your phone on the balloon while slowly letting the air out. The balloon should now seem like a phone case on your phone (it can take a few tries to get it). I think it looks kind of cool but I wouldn't suggest this hacks because you can't use the camera and there is a small part of the balloon that is hanging from the side.

#3 Clean dishes
This is the laziest hack ever. Honestly, are you lazy at the point that you're going to waste saran wrap by covering all your dishes with it? It was still worth the try. You basically just have to wrap your plates, bowls, and all your other dishes in saran wrap. The next you use with those dishes, you won't have to wash them because you only have to remove the saran wrap and throw it in the garbage. I personally wouldn't use this hack because I think it's pretty dumb, but if you're reallyyyy lazy I guess it could work. Although you're wasting all the saran wrap.

#4 Slip free hangers
I'm pretty sure this hack is the only actually useful and smart hack I would use out of all the ones I've tried. Sometimes when clothes are on a hanger, they can easily fall off depending on their material or the type of hanger you use. With this hack, your clothes won't slip off. Use rubber bands to wrap the edges of the hangers on both sides. Then, when you put hang your clothes, it shouldn't fall. After I tried it, I was really surprised by how good the hack was. I was shaking the hanger around in every directions and the shirt didn't fall.

Holiday life hacks

Hey guys, it's Erika! Yes, this is going to be the first Holiday post this year. This might be a little early for some people but I wanted to be in advance. All of these will keep your house clean and organized even if you're lazy.

You know when Christmas is over and you have to take down all the decorations so you just throw them in a box for next year but then the next year all your lights are tangled up and it takes hours for them to actually look like Christmas lights again, here's the solution; wrap your lights around a hanger and they won't get tangled.

Everyone knows that at the end of a Christmas party you usually can't see the floor anymore because there's wrapping paper everywhere. So next time, wrap a cardboard box and place it somewhere in the room. This will act as your garbage for the wrapping paper without looking so ugly.

For this one, you will need old toilet paper rolls and rolls of wrapping paper. Cut the toilet paper so you can fit it on the wrapping paper, this way your wrapping paper won't get damaged.

Again with wrapping paper, to keep them all organized, place them in an empty wine crate to keep them from getting ripped or lost.

To continue with the organization tips, if you have small garlands that look like the one on the picture, place them in a plastic water bottle so they will never get tangled again.

If you are going to be decorating cookies at the Christmas party, you might want to consider putting the frosting in condiment bottles. Your cookies will look amazing without making a mess.

If you have a fake Christmas tree, you probably know the struggle of having a really empty looking tree. By adding green garlands in your Christmas tree decorations, you will make it look fuller and more natural.

This last one is if you are really lazy and you don't feel like decorating your Christmas tree every year. When the holidays are over, wrap your tree with saran wrap and keep it in storage for next year, then repeat the same thing every time. But make sure you have a fake tree or else it won't go well.

Cool Halloween hacks and DIY

Hey guys, it's Érika! Halloween is in a few days and I really wanted to make a last Halloween post. So, I'm going to show you some cool hacks and DIY for spooky decor and creepy food to make last minute.

#1 Jello worms

These are really easy real life looking worms. You will need straws, a glass, a rubber band, and a box of red jello. Pack straws together and use the rubber band to prevent them from moving then place them in the glass so the jello doesn't spill. When you're done making the jello, pour it in the straws and let them sit in the fridge until the jello is solid. After, remove the jello from the straws and then you're done.

#2 Spider prank


This is the easiest prank ever. When you put the water in the ice cube tray, just add a fake spider. Your guests are going to be surprised to see a spider in their glass.






#4 Ghost lantern


These ghosts lantern are the perfect decor pieces for your backyard. You will only need old milk containers and a sharpie. You just have to draw a face on the container and add lights inside.








#5 Lollipop stand


This lollipop stand looks really cool if you're having a party. You could always use a fake pumpkin and decorate it. First, make small holes in the pumpkin with a thumbtack and second place your lollipop in them.








#6 Eye snacks

This snack looks so good. You will need hard boiled eggs, avocados, olives and sriracha sauce. Begin by taking off the yellow from the eggs then fill the hole with the avocado. Put the olive on top and make little lines of sriracha sauce. Now you just have to eat them.

Weird life hacks

Hey guys, it's Erika! I'm so sorry for not posting in a few week because I went on vacation and then it was back to school. But from now on I'm going to be posting on random days. So back to the post, today I'm going to show some weird life hacks that could potentially change your life.

#1 Straw in the berry

Instead of cutting your strawberries to get rid of the little leaves on top, just put a straw through the fruit to make the leaves pop out. That way you won't be wasting small parts of the strawberry.






#2 Cupcake sandwich

Follow the steps on the picture to make your cupcake sandwich. By eating it this way you will have frosting in every bite and you will definitively look like a life hack queen. Honestly, I always use this trick when I eat cupcakes and it totally works.



#3 Cupcake heart




This third one is also about cupcakes. So if you want to jazz up a little your cupcakes, put a marble between the baking pan and the cupcake liner so it gets the shape of a heart. This is perfect for Valentine's Day, a birthday, or even just to make your cupcakes look cool.





#4 Tissue station


For this one, just stick a full tissue box and an empty tissue box together like on the picture. That way you don't have to get up to throw your used tissue in the garbage and they won't be everywhere on the floor. This is good if you don't have a lot of space or to put on your desk at work.



#5 Water time


This one isn't really a life hack but I thought it was pretty interesting. As you can see on the picture it tells you when is the best time to drink water. They say you should drink two glass after waking up to activate your internal organs, one glass 30 minutes before a meal to help digestion, one glass before a bath to help lower your blood pressure and one last glass before going to bed to avoid strokes and heart attack for a total of 5 glasses a day. The purpose of all this is to maximize the water's effectiveness on the human body.


#6 Hiden cords

This last one is really useful because I think people are always trying to find new ways to organize their cords, chargers, and earphones. By putting them in a sunglasses case you will prevent them from getting tangled. This hack is especially good for traveling.

DIY school supplies and life hacks

Hey guys it's Erika! Today, I’m going to show you some DIY supplies and life hacks for back to school.

#1 To do list

For this one, you’re going to need a frame (mine is from IKEA) and a background picture. For the background, you can print one from the internet, draw it yourself or use lined paper. Just cut it the size of the frame then put it in. The glass of the frame is going to act like a whiteboard so you can write with erasable markers on it. This DIY is perfect for keeping track off all those homework and tasks that you have to do especially if you’re not a very organized person.

#2 DIY magnets

To make these really cute magnets you’re going to need cardboard, paint (the color depends on what your magnets are going to be), a sharpie (for the details), a paintbrush, glue, and magnet strips. First, you want to start by cutting the cardboard the shape of your magnets. Then, you’re going to paint it. I decided to make an alien, a smiley face and a diamond. For the black details, I used the sharpie instead or paint. After everything has dried, cut the magnet strips and glue them on the back of your magnets. Then you’re done. You can put them in your locker for decoration. Plus you can make a ton of these.

#3 Book organizer

You know how sometimes at school you have like 3 books to read at the same time and then you can't find them because you have a bunch of book all around your room, well I have the solution for you. Just use this paper organizer to store some of your books. It's going to keep them organized and always at the same place so they are easy to take and put back.

#4 Accordion pockets folder

Accordion pocket folders are perfect for organizing all your school papers. So each time you have papers that you know you won't use anymore you can put them in the folder so you can check them back for your finals. Plus they make some with 13 different sections which is definitely enough for your school subjects. They also have some with fewer pockets.

#5 Cinnamon gum

I never tried this one because I don't like gum but apparently if you take cinnamon gum at school it's supposed to make you focus more in class. So if you're the type of person to have trouble focusing you could try this hack and tell me if it actually works.
