Cool ways to save money

Hey guys, it's Érika! Today, I decided to show you a few ways to save money that you probably didn't think of before. With these, you are going to be able to save for whatever you have been wanting for a while; trip, new makeup product, new furniture, gifts, clothes, etc.

#1 Make your own Starbucks drinks

If you're a Starbucks lover you will know that sometimes it can get pretty expensive for coffee or tea. So just make your DIY Starbucks drinks. First, it's less expensive because that's the point but you can also personalize your drink with any ingredients. Here are a few recipes that I found;

#2 Go to thrift shops

Honestly, I am a really big thrift shop fan. I love going there because you never know what you're going to find. Literally half of my closet is from the thrift shops. I found clothes and bathing suits from Ardene, Forever 21, Victoria Secret, H&M, and other stores that I never knew about. There's also jewelry, shoes, and other stuff that's not related to fashion. Let me tell you there is some pretty cute things at the thrift shop for a lot cheaper than
regular stores.

#3 Try out the 52 weeks challenge

The 52 weeks challenge consist of a jar with a label on it (like the on one the picture). Then every week you put a dollars more than what you put last week.Ex; week 1=1$, week 2=2$, week 3=3$,etc. At the end of the year, you should end up with 1 378$, wich is a big amount of money. Now you will be able to buy what you've been wanting or some as gifts.

#4 Sell you old school books

This one you can actually make money with. Selling your old school books or manuals will make some space in you room or house and depending if you have a lot of books or not you can make a lot of money. And some parents will be happy to buy used but clean (and not ripped) book for their children because sometimes, especially manuals, can be very expensive.
